MASONRY REPAIRS

The main cause of masonry deterioration is moisture.  We have a great understanding of how to control moisture, in order to repair and preserve your damaged masonry.  Masonry damaged by vehicle impacts and foundation failures are very common and should not be handled lightly; often the damage goes further than what is visible.

 

Our knowledge allows us the opportunity to assess damaged structures, and determine to best possible repair. In most cases we can determine the source of the damage or deterioration and suggest alternative designs to insure your repair will last.

Restoration

The most important thing about Restorations is knowing how to take the brickwork apart and put it back together without damaging the structure of the building. 

The second most important part is making it look like it is all original and that no work was done on the building at all.


We rebuild and repair these old buildings using the proper mortar mixes and colours along with era appropriate replacement material salvaged wherever possible.   

We even cut most of the replacement bricks with a hammer rather than a saw to keep even the installation as original as possible.
